Some may laugh when I say that Table Tennis or Ping Pong will get you working up a sweat. Those same people have obviously not played the game, and if they have, they are unable to maintain a volley. A good volley in this game can get you sweating like a beast and really working on your cardiovascular endurance.

This is such a great activity to attach yourself to because of it’s availability. Ping Pong tables are available all over at rec centers, bars, restaurants and in many peoples homes. With an inexpensive price tag for a basic table, one who falls in love with the game can easily clear a space in their home, head to the store, pick up a table and spend the rest of the night playing against their friends. No friends around this evening? Fold the table half up and have a volley against that. It is great practice.

Have a peek at the video below and you will quickly understand how this sport can be great for your fitness. A casual game is good for you as well. We don’t pick up the paddle and instantly play like these guys do.
