This fast paced, high action sport requires its players to be in top shape as they spend their 90 minutes on the field running and sprinting. Endurance is a must for all athletes who play soccer and training is important for them to be in the top shape necessary to compete.
For those of us who are unable to compete in soccer at a professional level, there are leagues all over the United States as well as the world. Running between 5-7 miles per game, soccer is a great way to stay in shape, clear your mind and have a good time with friends.
