Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you potentially one of the next games (aside from Star Wars 1313) to get you squealing with excitement and shifting in your seat rather uncomfortably. The game in question is Ubisoft’s upcoming title Watch Dogs. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, who fans of Assassin’s Creed should be familiar with, and due for release in 2013, this game may be just the hybrid of titles that we’ve been looking for. With elements of Hitman and Splinter Cell clearly visible in the trailer, this popular yet fresh approach could be an attracting proposition for a large amount of gamers, and the added spice and freedom of open-world gameplay just seems to be spoiling us. Oh, did I forget to mention that it looks absolutely beautiful too? Hopefully this doesn’t go the same way as all of the other games that manage to look breathtaking months before release, only for their frame rate and quality to largely underwhelm in the end.

So folks, let’s see how this one pans out. We’ve got quite a wait on our hands, but I think that maybe time is what Ubisoft need to make a masterpiece out of this bad boy.
