Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus developer Tecmo Koei has released some features coming to the PlayStation Vita port of the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 game released for PS3. First of all, players will be able to play once again as Ayane, Rachel and Momiji, but with newly designed costumes! Also a new mode called Tag Mission is being developed that gives the ability to switch to another character from the get go. Finally, Ninja Race will be introduced in this port, it’s Ninja Gaiden with a Mario Kart twist, where players go out and collect items to increase their attack and defense.

Once again, the Hero difficulty level is coming back to the PlayStation Vita port and along with the touchscreen and Sixaxis functionality.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus 2 is scheduled to release in Q1 of 2013.
