Emmett Graves from Starhawk and Kat from Gravity Rush are available as new DLC characters for the PlayStation party fighting game, All-Stars Battle Royale.
For two weeks, the characters can be downloaded completely for free (and they remain that way even after two weeks pass). If that window is not met, each character becomes priced at $4.99 on PSN.
Graves is described as a builder-type of fighter. He relies on constructing shotguns and rocket launchers, automatic turrets, and a Rift Extractor. Kat, on the other hand, can “zip around the areas faster than anyone in the cast.” Her attacks are gravity-themed and her strategy is to get close to her enemies.
Also, a new stage from Heavenly Sword is available for $1.99 in order to play it offline – online, for ranked online matches, it is not necessary to have the map purchased.
Seth Killian, author of the post and lead designer at Sony Santa Monica Studio, writes that the temporarily-free DLC is a “a gift to all the players that have supported the project from the start” because the game recently won “Best Fighting Game” at DICE Awards.
