Rejoice, Nintendo fans! today Nintendo during a preview event unveiled the launch details for their new home console, the Wii U. The Wii U will come in two flavors, the deluxe set and the basic set. The deluxe set comes with a black Wii U console with 32GB of internal storage with additional storage, the Wii U Gamepad, a Nintendoland game, a Wii U Gamepad Cradle, a Wii U Gamepad Stand, a console stand accessory, the sensor bar, the AC adapter for both the Wii U and its Gamepad and a high speed HDMI cable. The basic set cover with a white Wii U with 8GB of internal storage and includes the following: the Wii U Gamepad, a sensor bar, the AC adapter for both the console and the Gamepad and a high speed HDMI cable.

Wii U works with most Wii controllers and has backward compatibility with most Wii games!

Worried about price? fear not!

The Basic Set is going to cost $299.99 while the Deluxe Set will cost fans $349.99

Now for those wanting 2 Wii U Gamepad support, I have some bad news. According to Polygon a second Wii U Gamepad won’t be supported at launch and won’t be sold as a standalone controller for now according to Nintendo officials.
