EA has announced the first set of DLC for first-person-shooter Medal of Honor Warfighter is inspired by real locations relevant to the search for Osama Bin Laden. The map pack is called Zero Dark Thirty in the US (The Hunt Map Pack in Europe) and it ties in to the upcoming movie of the same name. The DLC will include two multiplayer maps. The first, Darra Gun Market, is based on the largest illegal arms bazaar in the world. Second is Chitral, a rugged and remote tribal location in the north of Pakistan and bordered by Afghanistan to the west and China to the north. The pack will also include new weapon loadouts inspired by those used by SEAL team 6.
The Medal of Honor Warfighter Limited Edition will include this DLC for free. This edition is guaranteed to everyone who pre-orders the game before it launches on October 23rd. Otherwise, it will retail at $9.99/80 MSP. The DLC will release on December 17, 2012, two days before the release of the film. EA has also announced that $1 of each sale will be donated to its Project HONOR campaign for a minimum donation of $1 million. Project HONOR is a program created by EA to spur donations for nonprofit organizations that aid veterans.
