Halo 4: Team Sniper and Shotty Sniper Making A Comeback

Watch me as I jump from my chair and tap my heels as the news that Halo 4 will be re introducing both Team Snipers and Shotty Snipers after 343′s Monday, February 11th’s playlist update. I have been a long time fan of Halo and although I am not the best with the sniper rifle, there is nothing better than taking a spartan head off with the rifle. Below is the information regarding Mondays update:

Team Snipers. For those who think all other weapons are for N00bs.

  • 4v4
  • 12 minute rounds
  • 60 kills to win
  • Equipped with only a sniper rifle
  • No radar
  • No killcam
  • No instant respawn
  • No nades

Shotty Snipers. For those long range fanatics who enjoy sneaking behind the enemy and removing their domb with a shotgun.

  • halo-headshot (2)4v4
  • 12 minute rounds
  • 60 kills to win
  • Primary weapon: Sniper rifle
  • Secondary weapon: Shotgun
  • No radar
  • No killcam
  • No instant respawn
  • Nades active

Along with the new playlists, 343 will also be releasing some additional maps including slightly altered Haven and Abandon.

What’s that a rep from 343 stated?

“will group together 4 vs. 4 Team Regicide, Oddball and King of the Hill. The biggest changes you’ll see to these game types are that Complex Oddball has been removed, and instant respawn has been disabled for both KoTH and Oddball.”

So a little bit of Team Objective thrown into the mix as well. I am sure that this will make fans excited as well.

So tell us, Are you more excited about the return of the Sniper playlist or do you look forward to more Team Objective gameplay? Let us know.

Thanks MP1st
