It is now Day 38 of Fighting For Fitness continues on www.gamentrain.com!
With our next measurement day only three days away, a thought occurs…
I still haven’t posted the measurements from DAY 31 yet!
Here are the updated measurements from Day 31 of the Isagenix program. In a few days, we will be taking our next updated pictures, so it will be interesting to see the difference from the beginning of the program to now.

A couple of dramatic changes were seen in the latest set of measurements. The upper thighs saw a big decrease of 2.5 inches in 10 days! Also, my abs continue to see a regular decrease. Each measurement has averaged around a 1.5 inch decrease in my abs, while Day31′s measurements saw a decrease of only 1.25 inches.
The only thing I found odd about this set of measurements was that we actually saw an increase in the chest. That measurement was actually half an inch bigger than the last set of measurements 10 days earlier. The chest has still seen a decrease overall, so it’s really nothing to be concerned about.
Altogether though, the changes over one month of the Isagenix program and the gym routine with Fighting For Fitness has been remarkable. The most significant difference has been seen in my mid-section (abs, waist, butt and upper thighs) with inches of size lost in those areas.
This has especially been noticed in my clothing. Since there is no sense in buying new clothes until after this program is entirely over, some of the clothes that I have been wearing can look ridiculously baggy. The extra large shirts that I wear go down a lot further on my body then they use to and my size 40 or size 42 jeans definitely require a lot of maintenance.
Suffice to say, a belt is definitely needed.
The funny thing is, the measurements shown here are now seven days old. I have lost further weight since these measurements were taken.
Here is my current weight, as of Day 38 of the Fighting For Fitness program.
Day 1 – 260 pounds
Day 8 – 256 pounds
Day 17 – 248.5 pounds
Day 21 – 246 pounds
Day 31 – 242 pounds
Day 38 – 238 pounds
Total Weight Loss – 22 pounds
We have officially dropped out of the 240 range and back into the 230s! The last time I was around this weight was about two years ago, so we are definitely seeing an improvement. Let’s see how long it will take to get into the 220s from here.
Still plenty of weight to lose, but we’ve seen a lot of great progress so far!
As I mentioned in the last Fighting For Fitness update, I needed to change my dietary plan. While I was following the calorie rules set for me through Isagenix, I was eating the wrong kinds of foods and sometimes going over my calorie limit.
That being said, I’ve still taken time to make things fun in the kitchen, making for some interesting combinations along the way.
Here is a look at what’s been on my dinner table since my last update…
Day 32 – Friday, September 7th
breakfast – Turkey breast fillet, breaded with eggs and crushed corn flakes cereal (410 calories)
lunch – IsaLean Shake
dinner – IsaLean Shake
Day 33 – Saturday, September 8th

dinner – Honey Glazed Pork Tenderloin (440 calories, nice lean piece of tenderloin with little fat)

Cleanse Day – No Food Intake!
Day 35 – Monday, September 10th
breakfast – IsaLean Shake
lunch - Chicken and broccoli, w/homemade honey and dijon sauce (420 calories)
Dinner – IsaLean Shake
Day 36 – Tuesday, September 11th
breakfast – two waffles with blueberries (400 calories)
lunch – IsaLean Shake
dinner – IsaLean Shake
Pre-workout energy boost – (IsaLean Bar (274 calories, high in protein)
Day 37 - Wednesday, September 12th
breakfast – two waffles with blueberries IsaLean Shake (400 calories)
lunch – IsaLean Shake
dinner - IsaLean Shake
Compared to the food that I was eating in my last progress report, there has been a change here in portion size and in styles of food. I’ve included turkey for the first time in my diet and have tried a few new recipes. The pork tenderloin included here is much more healthy than the pork schnitzel that was included last time around. Also the combination of chicken and broccoli as very healthy and rated highly on many cooking websites.
By the way, if you are wondering why a turkey breast fillet was used for breakfast on Day 32, I woke up late for work and didn’t have time to make an IsaLean shake. So my already prepared lunch became breakfast instead!
Month two of Isagenix is now underway and with that, I’ve varied up my workout routine as well. Over the course of a week, I have gone to the local pool to swim laps twice, exercised through Zumba once and also hit the golf course. (not as hard-hitting of an exercise, but still a physical activity!)
