PlatformThirtyTwo interviewed Steve Masters, Lead Game Designer on Assassin’s Creed III where he spoke about the newly announced feature during a press event. Ever since Assassin’s Creed II, the concept of owning a manor and upgrading it to help financially the player has always been a nice feature to take care of. In Assassin’s Creed III the team wanted to bring back that feature and they did it taking not one, but two steps forward.

The Homestead is the base of operations for Connor where he will help certain characters in the vicinity and they will repay Connor with their services. Take a look at this interview and see how deep this system is. Here’s also some character renders who might be some that NPCs players can encounter in the Homestead.

Assassin’s Creed III let’s players experience the Homestead for PS3 (preorder available on PlayStation Network), Xbox 360 on October 30th,2012. While the Wii U releases as a launch title on November 18th,2012 and the PC version lands on November 23th,2012.
